To take the Chinese teaching, Chinese teachers and learners of the Montfort College in Chiang Mai Thailand as the objects of study, this article conducts research, analyses the current situation and problems of the Chinese teaching in the college, and puts forward suggestions to solve those problems.Chapter 1 is about the research background, reasons for the writing of this article, the current states and progress of Chinese teaching in the secondary schools in Thailand, as well as the content, methods and research significance based on those above. Chapter 2, Chapter 3 and Chapter 4 do research on the Chinese teaching, the teachers together with their Chinese teaching and the students in Montfort College, points out the problems in teaching management, testing, teaching materials and teaching equipment. To be specific, the problems for the teachers and their teaching are that the teachers and their teaching lack unified management, and that the teachers are low in quality, high in mobility and loose in class management. The situation and problems for the students are analyzed in three aspects-the students’ situation, teaching assessment, and ways to improve Chinese teaching. Through the integration of the above, the final part is to put suggestions in four aspects-conducting scientific management, establishing scientific training and recruitment system, taking students as the center and improving their interests, selecting and compiling appropriate teaching materials.
