| A outstanding problem has come along with the mass high education age is that the serious imbalance between teachers and students, at the same time,the change of teachers’ responsibility has resulted in that it’s not a easy task to guarantee the e quality of higher education. So that many measures has been adapted by education fields to evaluate teachers’ teaching, as the aim for improving teachers’ teaching quality. Students are the main body of evaluating teachers’ teaching, so that students evaluation for teaching has become a prevailing tools,which also has increasingly draw more and more attention of high education estimators.However,the students evaluation for teaching in many colleges just stay on the surface and do not play its due role for improving teaching, due to lacking of deep understanding about it. As a result, it is important and necessary to draw our attention and think about how to make the students evaluation into the power of improving teachers’ teaching.The research selected N university as an object of study which has long-term implemented students’ evaluation of teaching,and choose four hundred and thirty-two senior students who are participant in students’ evaluating of teaching activities,and asked them to finish questionnaires. According to reference data, interview objects are determined for three instructional managers,four teachers and sixteen students in N university.Based on in-depth interview information of stakeholders of student evaluating teaching,the writer combined with the interview data of questionnaire to analyze the present situation on students’ evaluating of teaching in N university,then find the following question which caused the unrestrain of teachers’ classroom teaching and the non-significance of improving teaching: firstly, students lack of deep cognition and serious attitude towards students’ evaluating of teaching,which influences the objectivity and factuality of result evaluation;secondly, evaluation indicators lacks of pertinence and comprehensiveness,and students valued “interactive between teachers and students”;thirdly evaluation form taking students as main body is too simple,and the time arrangement of evaluation is not appropriate;fourthly,it is too simple and unreasonable feedback for teachers about result of student evaluation of teaching;Thus writer reflect the problem mentioned above,and put forward the strategies that can help perfect students’ evaluating of teaching.For example:Prompting students appraiser to reach a consensus on cognition; Perfecting the evaluation system to ensure activity’s operation smoothly;Optimizing content index ofevaluation to increase diversity participation;Applying the result of evaluation scientifically to strengthen the effective students’ evaluation of teaching. |
