| Music appreciation is the most direct and effective way to learn and percept music, which can cultivate students’ music aesthetic and creative ability, enrich their emotional experience, open their art view and improve their culture accomplishments. At the same time it can edify sentiment, and promote the healthy development of students’ body and mind. Music appreciation is not only an important practical activity for professional music learners to receive music nutrients and raise their music accomplishment but also an important school course to implement quality education. It has a very important role in helping and pushing students’ all-round development.Secondary vocational education is an important part of popularizing high school education. With the rapid development of economy and the need of society for all kinds of talents, our country attaches great importance to the development of all kinds of vocational educations and puts the secondary vocational education in an important position. As a secondary vocational art school, Wulanchabu National Art School is shouldering the important task of cultivating professional talents of high music quality for the Inner Mongolia autonomous region. However, the development of school music quality education is still in its infancy. As the teaching quality and talent cultivation remain to be perfect, they can’t adapt to the economic and social development of our requirements. Nowadays, what we need in our society is comprehensive developed inter-disciplinary talents, who have both quality and skills. For a long time school education has focused too much on music professional skills training, ignoring the students’ quality education and comprehensive development. School music quality education becomes a weak link in teaching due to imperfect theory of music curriculum and no timely music appreciation courses.Taking Wulanchabu National Art School music appreciation class status as the breakthrough point, this thesis analyzes the problems that school music appreciation is faced with. Combining the school’s own characteristics and the learning need of students’ development, it discusses the importance of music appreciation teaching in music quality education according to the talent cultivating target of secondary vocational schools and the social needs, puts forward the courses reform ideas of Wulanchabu National Art School music appreciation to perfect the theory of the school music curriculum and provides some reference opinions for the implementation of the courses of music appreciation and its teaching so as to promote the training of student’s comprehensive ability. Meanwhile, the author also hopes that this thesis can provide a relative theoretical basis for the teaching of music appreciation of the secondary vocational schools and beneficial help for quality education of the secondary vocational schools to cultivate high quality and multi-functional compound talents.This thesis consists of three parts: the review of Wulanchabu National Art School and its music teaching; the course status of Wulanchabu National Art School music appreciation; ideas of curriculum reform of Wulanchabu National Art School music appreciation. |
