Van Hiele theory is proposed by the Pierre(Van Hiele and Dina Van Hiele-Geldof) based on the long-term practice. Van Hiele theory thinks that there is a very close relationship between the level of students' geometrical thinking and the effectiveness of classroom teaching.Therefore, the junior middle school mathematics teachers in the implementation of the plane geometry of the entry, we must learn from the Van Hiele theory, based on the existing thinking of the students. This article mainly uses the literature method, the case analysis method, the experimental research method, the questionnaire survey method and the interview method, in the Van Hiele theory and the junior high school plane geometry elementary school teaching difficulty cause and so on. Select the class of the students in the Van Hiele theory of the junior high school plane geometry. The concrete strategies and case analysis of the junior high school plane geometry based on Van Hiele theory are presented. And then verify the effectiveness of the junior high school geometry based on Van Hiele theory.This article mainly consists of the following parts: the first part is the introduction. The research background, ideas and methods of this paper are introduced. The research methods involved include: literature review, case analysis, experimental research, questionnaire survey and interview method. The second part, the core concept definition and Van Hiele theory. First, the definition of the concept of plane geometry.Secondly, Van Hiele theory is introduced. The concrete content includes:the origin of Van Hiele theory, the content of Van Hiele theory, the characteristic of Van Hiele geometric thinking level, etc.. The third part,the junior high school plane geometry teaching question research. First of all, the requirements of the teaching of the middle school mathematics curriculum standards of compulsory education in 2011 are described.Secondly, analysis of the goal and characteristics of the junior high school plane geometry. At last, it analyzes the reasons of the difficulty of the entrance to the plane geometry. The fourth part, based on the theory of Van Hiele in the junior middle school geometry teaching experiment research. Mainly for the purpose of the experiment, the object of the experiment and the time, the experiment process is described. The fifth part, the experimental results and analysis. The sixth part, the conclusion and the insufficiency.The conclusion is:(1)most of the students can accept the teaching mode based on Van Hiele theory;(2)most students think that their own geometric thinking level is improved after the implementation of the mathematics teachers.(3)most of the real test objects are supported by Van Hiele theory. Overall, the teaching experiment has achieved the expected goals, the Van Hiele theory based on the junior high school plane geometry teaching is a feasible teaching strategy.
