The Research Of Social Case Work On Improving Interpersonal Relationship Of Orphanage Teenager

After decades of development,the children welfare system in our country has made great achivements both in welfare scale and welfare level.Currently the teenagers that living in the orphanage has been taken good care of their basic living demand, However, there is a lack of necessary attention to their psychological requirements. Among them, the trouble in interpersonal has become a commom scene.In order to understand the truly living situation of the orphanage teenagers,and for make social work to serve the welfare institutions in our country better, this research has used the social case work method to help the teenagers that living in the orphanage.The aim of this service is to improve the inerpersonal skills of the orphanage teenager,develop their interpersonal relationship.The specific service process is to choose a teenager who has the most serious problems in interpersonal relationship as the service object from the current teenagers that live in the orphanage in J City,Hubei Province.Trought using the third edition of UCLA loneliness test scale to test the object before the service process,using Psychosocial Therapy Pattern to provide a service for a period of nearly three months.After the service there is a effect evaluation through both of the test and the completion of the targets,in order to investigate the effectiveness of the case work service and the significance of applying social work in welfare institutions.Through the research comes the following conclusions:1.From the individual level,fistly social work can create more opportunity for the orphanage children to develop their interests;Then social work can make the orphan participate in the daily work of the orphanage more often.2.From the institution level,firstly social work can make the orphanage work more humanization;And social workers can create opportunities for improving the relationship between the children and the staff in the orphanage.There are many defections in this study,such as the schedule was too urgent;This study only use social case work to serve the client;And due to the author's professional level is limited,the quality of serve need to be improved.
