Social Work Involvement In A Case Study Of Family Education Activity

Family education phenomenon is a common phenomenon in society. Parents in the children’s demand is unreasonable, tutor market turmoil, coaching methods only focus on academic progress, unable to analysis the special problems and meet the special requirements, these are the current situation of family education activities. the study of family education has been marginalized, lack of multidisciplinary analysis, and in the shallow level. Social work intervention in family education activity is the new development. It can analysis and define the difficulties facing educates, plan and targeted, step by step to solve. This is an innovative way of family education, meet educates’ needs of healthy growth and overall development. The article based on the present situation and problems of family education activities, in perspective of social work intervention in family education activities, through a case study which using psychosocial therapy and narrative therapy to clarify the necessity and possibility of social work intervention family education activities, to explain how the social work intervention tutoring activities operation, and then discusses the advantage, effect and reflection.This research shows that:one, social work necessary intervention in family education activities, this is the unity of dominant and recessive demand requirements, to solve the problems of educates with a variety of methods, to focus on the educates’ long-term development, and the healthy growth. two, social work in family education activity has the feasibility, it can be known in the process of tutoring case. Three, psychosocial therapy with the combination of narrative therapy can meet the demand of cases, to improve the case situation. it is the social work theory and method of exploration and attempt. Four, Social work intervention in family education activity has obvious characteristics, embodied in the concept of developmental perspective, specific requirements analysis, goal setting, the effectiveness of the rationality of the method chosen, the effectiveness assessment of the measurement. Five, Social work intervention in family education activities have good results in the aspect of theory and practice, but there are further discussed, need to be seriously, promote in-depth study on it.
