In recent years, with the rapid development of China's economy, International Chinese language education is also promoting continuously, the Confucius Institute under the guidance of national policy is springing up all over the world. Class activities and management, as two essential parts of Chinese class, how to choose and carry out in different national education environment become the important topic of oversea Chinese teaching aspect in the research of many scholars.Take the primary schools in south island in New Zealand as an example, based on the analysis of the local education policy and the goal of second language teaching, by means of sending a questionnaire to the MLAs at the primary schools in New Zealand's south island, the article collects relevant data and information, the types of activities in the classroom and learns about local Chinese management styles, through analysis and induction, in order to lay the foundation of making Chinese teaching more adapt to the New Zealand.Through the analysis of the policy and data, the author found that the class activities used by different year, different teaching contents and teaching time are different, and so do the ways to solve the different types of problems in Chinese class management. For these factors, this paper designs different activities and ways of management according to years, teaching contents, teaching time, and try to further improve the efficiency of local Chinese language class, cultivate students' interest in learning Chinese, so as to make the Chinese has better promotion at primary schools in New Zealand.
