The Research Of Contemporary College Students' Civic Consciousness Education In China

Civic consciousness education is to train citizens to develop a good awareness of civic rights and duties,realize the dominate status of ourselves.The competition between the modern countries is the competition of people.The development of any country depends on the quality and quantity of people,the subjectivity,initiative and creativity of people.Compared with western countries,china's civic consciousness education starts later,the development speed is also slower.There is much to learn from western countries,both in theory and in practice.Based on the study of the related theories of civic consciousness education,this paper has studied the main contents of civic consciousness education,including national awareness,sense of participation,awareness of legal,rights and responsibilities,and the awareness of ecological environment,etc.At the same time,combined with the needs of construction of the socialist harmonious society in China,through the survey of questionnaire,this paper also analyzed the urgency of the civic consciousness education of contemporary college students,and summarized the problems existing in the contemporary college students' civic consciousness,as well as its reasons.Finally,this paper proposed some principles and measures to strengthen the education of contemporary college students' civic consciousness:according to the principles of subjectivity,diversity,practice and self-education,through consummating the environment of civic consciousness education and participate a variety of practical activities to improve the level of the contemporary college students' national consciousness,participation consciousness,legal consciousness,democracy consciousness,environmental protection awareness,awareness of tax payment,the consciousness of water conservation and the consciousness of community.
