With the development of society, more and more people have known theimportance of civic consciousness. Because of the location (the western part of ourcountry) and the complicated social environment, the characteristic of Xinjiangcollege students has formed which is multi-ethnic and multi-cultural. To have theresearch of the civic consciousness of Xinjiang college students has played animportant role. It can strengthen and improve the education of civic consciousness. Itcan improve college students’ civic consciousness. It also can ensure Xinjiang andeven the country’s political stability and security, and national security ideology. Thisarticle makes Xinjiang college students as the main research object; let the practicemode of civic consciousness education as the breakthrough point; have the empiricalinvestigation as the research way. We have realized the situation of the practice modeof civic consciousness education among Xinjiang college students. We also constructthe practice mode of civic consciousness education. What’s more. It can develop thetheoretical research of the practice mode of civic consciousness education amongXinjiang college students and enrich the practice paradigm. To construct our practicalmodel system of civic consciousness education accord with the characteristics, wecan make up the lack of civic consciousness education up to local area.This article is based on the research at home and abroad, access to relevant data,and questionnaire survey, data analysis, and on the basis of the topic of the practicemode of civic consciousness education among Xinjiang college students. We havefour mainly parts:Chapter One: Introduction. This chapter introduces the selected topic background,the selected topic significance, the domestic and foreign research status, researchideas and methods of this article, and the innovation points, key and difficult of thispaper.Chapter two: The theoretical introduction of the practice mode of civicconsciousness education. We have three parts in this chapter. First, it elaborated therelated concept of civic consciousness education practice mode. Second, it elaboratedthe thought of Marx’s civic awareness education. Third, it elaborated the beneficialexperience of foreign citizenship education.Chapter three: We have three parts to analysis the values of strengthen theresearch of the civic consciousness education practice mode. They are the particularity,the challenges and explore the strategic significance of Xinjiang college students’ civic consciousness education practice mode.Chapter four is the most important part. This chapter analyses the status ofXinjiang college students’ civic consciousness education by questionnaire. We havechosen five colleges to get the truth of Xinjiang college students’ civic consciousness.Chapter five is the most difficult part. This chapter elaborated the construction ofcivic consciousness education practice mode of Xinjiang college students. It believesthat the suitable practice way in Xinjiang to the construction of Xinjiang collegestudents civic awareness education practice mode should update education concept,adhere to the principle of citizen consciousness education, constructing the contentsystem perfect, the effective way of expanding the citizen consciousness education, aswell as improving the safeguard mechanism of Xinjiang university students citizenconsciousness education etc to explore the practice path of Xinjiang regional features.
