The Consciousness Supplement And Early New Poetry(1919-1924)

This pape based on the new poetry published in the 1919-1924 six years of the "Republic Daily" supplement "awakening",is based on the complex historical background of the new poetry,and reexamines its literary and social functions.Through this study,we hope to show the historical process of consciousness in the construction of new poetry images.This article is divided into three parts.The introduction introduces the reason and significance of this topic,and explains the research years.On this basis,a complete historical summary of poetry published in consciousness(1919-1924)is made.There are two chapters in the main part of the text.The first chapter focuses on the historical topics such as "labor problems","women's issues","youth issues","political problems" and other historical topics,to discuss the partisan colors and creative tendencies of the early New Poetry in "consciousness",and to discuss the practice of Socialist propaganda and social mobilization with the help of new poetry in "consciousness".The second chapter starts from the three aspects of poetry language,syllable and practice,focusing on the problems of poetry itself.This article focuses on the debate about "dispute between literature and white" and "rhyme or not" in "awakening".In the presentation of "awakening",the concept of new poetry tends to be Hu Shi,that is,to identify the "new poetry image" in classical Chinese / vernacular,rhyme / no rhyme,new trend of thought / old culture.The conclusion part affirms the important role of the "consciousness" supplement on the occurrence and development of the early Chinese New Poetry and the related thinking after the study of this topic.
