A Report On Translating Legal Proposals

Laws have been playing a more vital role in dealing with people’s relationships with the influence of economical and social development.It’s also very important to learn from other countries by absorbing in foreign laws to enhance the legislation of our country.The introduction of law proposals plays a major role in the progress of our country’s legal system.Law proposal English is a part of legal English,which has not yet attracted much attention from most translators as it should have.The books about law proposal translation are unequally qualified.They are lack of the overall explanation of its characteristics,such as strictness,preciseness,and conciseness.This paper chooses two of the Californian law proposals,which aims to have an explanation of Californian law proposals based on writer’s own translation.It’s also trying to help readers understand the process of foreign law proposals by writer’s own translation analysis through the two law proposals.At the same time,the writer also needs to give an explanation of legal English’s characteristics and chooses the method of free translation to analyze the original texts.This process will result in some translation skills to provide a strategy on translating law proposals in hopes that the field of law proposals translation can be prosperous.
