The program of “Chinese Bridge” was generated under the background of persistent overheating of the global “Chinese fever”.Its influence is continuously expanding and it has gradually become an important platform for exchange and communication between China and other countries.Nowadays,the program has already been an important power for popularizing Chinese and transmitting Chinese culture.However,with the popularization of Chinese and cultural transmission entering a new development stage,the traditional pure language output model can no longer meet the current developmental needs of language and culture in China,and it appears very important investigating thoroughly the application of the new output model of the combination of language and culture.As one of China's important brand activities in the field of international cultural exchange,“Chinese Bridge” is precisely a practical practitioner of such new output model.Therefore,strengthening the study of the program of “Chinese Bridge” and its cultural value will be beneficial to future international promotion of Chinese as well as Chinese culture communication.Taking the Final Match of Chinese Bridge in 2014-2017,a global university Chinese language competition,as study cases,this paper associates “Chinese Bridge” with the transmission of Chinese culture,and conducts in-depth analysis and study of the match summary of the“Chinese Bridge”,the cultural examination questions and the five major elements in the cultural transmission process under the guidance of related theories of communication sciences,so as to seek out the referential factors reflected by the match,and to sum up the cultural dissemination value and the enlightenment on international education of Chinese language of the match.The study shows that the program of “Chinese Bridge” plays a significant role in carrying forward the national culture,promoting the communication and mutual reference between differentcivilizations,sharing diverse cultures,deepening value identification,and enhancing cultural confidence as well as the soft power of Chinese culture.“Chinese Bridge” is likewise of great referential significance for the international education of Chinese language: on the one hand,Chinese teachers can carry out cultural teaching by means of enhancing their cultural literacy,teaching students in accordance with their aptitude and making a flexible use of modern teaching techniques,and realize cultural output in the teaching practices;on the other hand,students can acquire Chinese culture by means of developing their interest in Chinese culture,laying emphasis on cultural accumulation and reviewing cultural knowledge and skills in a timely manner,thus promoting the realization of inter-cultural communicative activities.
