A Report On The Translation Of Analytics For The Internet Of Things(Chapter 1 And Chapter 2)

This is a report on the translation project of the Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 excerpted from the book Analytics of the Internet of Things(IoT).The book mainly introduces the IoT and the development and application of its related technology.The source text briefs the definitions of the IoT and the IoT analytics,the challenges they face in their development,common IoT devices as well as their common use cases,which is of high translation and practical value.This report is divided into four chapters.The first part mainly introduces the background and significance of the translation project.The second part is the description of the source text and the author of the book.The third part mainly briefs the employed theoretical basis,that is the Functional Equivalence Theory,and the translation difficulties and their solutions,such as division.The final part is the conclusion of the lessons the translator has learned from the project and her reflection.
