A Report On Interpreting For 2017 Ammunition Engineering Training

In recent years,with the continuous deepening of China' s reform and opening up,the development of China' s economy has achieved gradual improvement.Meanwhile,the international communication and cooperation in all respects are deepening,and then the importance of interpreting is becoming more obvious.This is a practice report of interpreting which is based on a series of interpreting work done by the author as an interpreter of Foreign Training Department of Army Engineering University in Shijiazhuang from September 10 th to September 17 th in 2017.The interpreting task mainly includes consecutive interpreting for the ammunition engineering training classes and conference as well as escort interpreting for the chief in the department.The interpreting report is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction of the interpreting tasks.In this part,the author mainly introduces the task background and requirements of client.The second part is the description of interpreting process.It describes preparation and process of interpreting,and post-interpreting issues.The third part is case analysis which is the core of this thesis.It analyzes the problems in interpreting and interpretive theory and then carries on further theoretical thinking based on cases.The fourth part is the summary of interpreting practice.In this part,the author makes a profound reflection on the interpreting practice,summarizes experiences and lessons,and puts forward the prospect of future work.
