A Translation Practice Report On Three Regulations Of Guangdong Province

In this translation practice,the author selected three local regulations as source texts,which is respectively related to social,legal and economic activities.This practice consists of two parts.The first part is pre-translation preparation including analyzing the source texts,reading relevant essays and monographs,searching for and studying parallel texts,preparing references and building a glossary.The second part is the C hinese-English translation,summarizing and analyzing difficulties in the translation and applying translatio n strategies based on relevance-adaptation theory to solving these difficulties.Through this translation practice,the author hopes to make some contribution to publicizing the legal system construction,social culture and economic culture of China and to bring some new insights for future studies on legislative texts.Besides,the author expects to improve her ability of translation and accumulate more experience of legal translation.
