In recent years, the teaching of Chinese characters has been becoming more and more important in the field of the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.People in this field is making deeper and thorough researches on the comprehending deviation or false of Chinese words.Generally the researchers tend to choose the Chinese words by the standard of Chinese words with high-frequency use by native people, while in this essay the author wants to adopt a new way.The author has chosen 50 Chinese characters with high-frequency deviation from the Chinese article corpus of foreign students, and taken them as the research objects. The essay consists of six chapters, and the author will explore the Chinese writing deviation of foreign students in a stratified way.Chapter one is introduction. In this part, the author aims to introduce the research reasons and purposes as well as to discuss the research results and shortcomings in the research about the Chinese writing deviation of foreign students.Meanwhile the author also give a brief introduction about the topic selecting. And then the author introduces some research methods and content including taking the Chinese characters with high-frequency deviation from the dynamic article corpus as the research objects, and adopting the research method of combining the quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis.Meanwhile the author discuss comprehensively the theoretical basis of the research on the Chinese ideographs with deviation from the views of inter-language theory, error analysis theory, formation of ideograph, and cognitive psychology. In chapter two,the author analyses the Chinese ideographs with deviation in a macroscopic view, and classifies the Chinese ideographs into three kinds of false, omittance and redundancy as well as into another six kinds of wrongly writ ten character, mispronounced character, hiatus, redundant characters, complex forms of characters, and variant Chinese characters. The author find that the primary reason of the deviation of Chinese character use is the foreign students’ substituting the corresponding simplified Chinese characters with complex form of Chinese characters, and the deviation of Chinese characters use appears in 35 countries or regions. The research breaks the traditional cognition that the complex forms of Chinese characters has an impact only on the culture circle of Chinese characters and prove that rheologic relation between the simplified Chinese characters and the complex forms of Chinese characters is meaningful for exploring the the reasons of deviation. In the chapter three, the author analyses the Chinese characters with deviation in a microcosmic way.According to the formation of the modern Chinese characters, the Chinese characters with deviation can be classified into non-motivation characters,half-motivation characters and full-motivation characters. In each kind of Chinese characters, the author cites some examples to carry out the contrast of the simplified form and the complex formal as well as the deviation analysis. The research reveals that the deviation of non-motivation characters converge on the rough drawing of characters formation, that the master of the ideogram is superior to the signs in half-motivation characters, and that deviation of full-motivation characters frequently appears in the incorrect writing of substituting the character with marking characters and the mixture of numeric alphabetic and ideogram. In chapter four, the author put forward some teaching strategies in connection with all the kinds of Chinese characters according to t he reasons of the deviation. In the chapter five, the author makes a conclusion and points out the defects of the research.
