A Study On The Hubei Provincial Examination In Qing Dynasty

Provincial Examination is an important part of Imperial Examination in Qing Dynasty. This article only selects Hubei Provincial Examination in Qing Dynasty to study.It includes three problems:historical document of Provincial Examination,enrollment rate,the geographical distribution and the varity of Ju-ren in Hubei province.In the first chapter ,there is a general historical document description of Hubei Provincial Examination in Qing Dynasty.First,it states the categorization and the description of local literature of Imperial Examination.Secondly,according to the number of Hubei Ju-ren in the Imperial Examination of Qing Dynasty to infer the qualities of the core historical document of Provincial Examination;Finally,the article investigate the existing core document of Provincial Examination in the terms of the version and the directory.In the second chapter,it mainly explores the enrollment rate of Hubei Provincial-level Examination in Qing Dynasty from the perspective of the average admission rate,official acceptance rate and the actual acceptance rate.In the third chapter, through the comparison of Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty,it finds the varity of geographical distribution of Ju-ren from long time.Through comprehensive and analysis of Hubei Provincial-level Examination in Qing Dynasty,to some extent,we can deepen the understanding and the understanding of it.
