With the rapid development of Chinese teaching,more and more Chinese volunteer teachers teach Chinese in Thailand.The Chinese volunteer teachers are facing different history,different cultures,and different customs when they worked abroad.Chinese volunteer teachers are bound to produce stress and anxiety,and they even encounter culture shock.Analysis of the cross-conflict problems faced by Chinese volunteer teachers can help them find ways to reduce cultural conflict so that they can work and live better during their tenure.As one of the Chinese volunteer teachers of Confucius Institutes in Suan Dusit University at Suphanburi,the author will combine her personal experience with questionnaire survey,one-on-one interview and so on to analyze the cases of cultural conflict of the Chinese volunteer teachers of CISDUS,and puts forward some feasible strategies.At the same time,in order to help other Chinese volunteer teachers adapt to the work and life in Thailand,this paper puts forward some suggestions and opinions according to the findings of the present study.There are 8 parts of this paper as follows:Part 1.This part introduces the research background and significance of this paper.Part 2.This part introduces the main theories involved in this paper,such as"cross-cultural conflict theory",and the shortcomings of the present research,laying a solid theoretical foundation for the later research.Part 3.This section introduces the research questions,research objects,research tools and research methods of the paper.Part 4.This section prepares the collected questionnaires and analyzed the results.Part 5.This part deals with cases of cultural conflict and analysis.Part 6.This part analyzes the causes of cultural conflict and lay the groundwork for the following recommendations.Part 7.In this part,suggestions for the selection,training and self-cultivation of Chinese volunteer teachers in the future in light of the cross-cultural conflict are provided.Part 8.This part summarizes the paper and points out the limitations of the present study.
