In 2003,China and Thailand launched the "Chinese Teacher Volunteer Project" and began to cooperate.In the world,Thailand has become the country with the largest number of Chinese volunteers assigned by Hanban.As Chinese has been included in the national education system in Thailand,volunteers for Chinese teachers in Thailand are in short supply.Nowedays the difficulties encountered in the cross-cultural communication among volunteers of Chinese language teachers in Thailand are related only to the aspect of teaching.However,as a volunteer to visit Thailand,the problems encountered in cross-cultural interpersonal communication are often more complicated and thorny.Most Chinese volunteers who travel to Thailand are fresh graduates or graduate students.Their level of Thai language is low.They lack teaching experience and workplace experience.They enter the workplace in a foreign cultural background and face the problem of interpersonal communication outside the ivory tower.The huge differences in culture can sometimes lead to misunderstandings of individuals and then rise to prejudice against a country.Different people have different personalities and ideas.It is easy to get along with each other in the morning and evening of ten months.It is also difficult to avoid conflicts with people in interpersonal communication.The Chinese teachers themselves pay less attention to interpersonal communication,and Chinese teachers also pay attention to cases of interpersonal communication conflicts in cross-cultural communication.After the emergence of cross-cultural interpersonal conflicts,the ideological dynamics and follow-up development of volunteers for Chinese teachers in Thailand have received little attention,including their feelings,reflections,and methods of handling.This is the innovation point of this paper,and it is also the purpose of writing this paper.This article begins with a series of case studies of cross-cultural interpersonal conflicts experienced by volunteers from Thailand.The interviews are mainly used to focus on the ideological development and subsequent development of Chinese teachers volunteers in Thailand.With the relevant theory of cross-cultural communication,the conflicts encountered by volunteer teachers of Chinese teachers in Thailand are analyzed and a more appropriate treatment is provided.
