The first chapter is the introduction of the topic,we mainly explain the significance of this paper,the main contents of the predecessors studied survey,the innovation of this paper,the theories and research techniques used to solve the problems and the source of utterance materials.The second chapter analyzes semantics of “dao”.It describes diverse semantics of “dao” in specific language environment,discusses the semantic background,semantic pattern,grammatical meaning of “dao”.We also analyze ways of introducing the compared item and the relative position of “dao” and the compared item.The third chapter is the syntactic analysis of “dao”.It discusses the syntactic position of “dao” the usage of “dao” in different mood and different complex sentence.The fourth chapter is the pragmatic analysis of “dao”.It discusses the pragmatic precondition,the pragmatic function of “dao” and the focus in “dao” sentence.The fifth chapter under the guidance of cognitive grammar,the tone adverb“dao” have interactive subjectivity,the core semantic function is to highlight of expectations,in various other classes are highlighted the expected effect.In the last chapter we make the conclusion and list the deficiency that needs the further consummation.
