Based on the analysis of the satisfaction of the students who study at the international education College of Sichuan Normal University, this paper discusses the improvement strategies of Chinese teachers' speech compliment behavior. This paper argues that most of the satisfied compliments have specific semantic direction, simple in structure, simple in content or close to the reality life. Most of the experienced teachers use the rhetorical techniques such as metaphor and contrast, which are impressive.Students are difficult to accept the semantic exaggeration or expression of a single, vague content, not sincere praise. The students are looking forward to teachers' sincere compliments and they hope the teachers will be praised for their learning attitude, habits, personality or appearance.Asian students want to be praised for their national culture, home, family and so on.Young students, especially women, want higher frequencies of praise, while older Asian students are expected to receive less praise. Most students want their teachers to praise themselves at least once a week. The sense of humor in compliments tends to accumulate the greatest popularity for teachers. Therefore, the author suggests that teachers should pay attention to the use of compliment in class, the principle of compliment in class.Teachers should respect students' different cultural backgrounds, protect the enthusiasm of every student, and praise people from different places.Compliment content is accurate and clear, and the topic is rich and varied. It is better to combine language learning with compliment in due course. Finally, this paper attempts to reflect and apply the above experience and experience in teaching design.
