| Belt and Road Initiative brings lots of commercial opportunities,and language output is needed more.Besides,we are in an important stage of deepening reform and opening up,in which the foreign commercial exchanges in business is becoming more and more frequent with increasing entrepreneurs.In China,we have Corporation Law and other commercial laws for offline entrepreneurs on company registration and managing the relationships among commercial subjects.However,we have no substantive laws on legal procedures for startup business,let alone for online business and entrepreneurs.Business Law Basics: A Legal Handbook for Online Entrepreneurs and Startup Businesses is a handbook centered around legal procedures,contracts,company names and registration works for online business,and legal suggestions for entrepreneurs as well.I majored in law during my undergraduate and am interested in law translation,so I hope this translation can bring some guidance or help to our entrepreneurs in China.This text is a translation report of a legal handbook about startup and is divided into five parts.The first part is task description that mainly introduces the research background,contents of the handbook and its legal benefits for our entrepreneur readers.The second part dwells on the translation process,respective tasks and time management in each stage.The third part is the text's backbone,which discusses the extracted legal terms and some problems met during the translation,including the translator's thoughts and decisions.The fourth part talks about puzzling and unsolved problems,including contrasts of a colloquial expressive style and strict legal contents.And the fifth part is the conclusion. |
