This paper is a report based on the English-Chinese translation of chapters 1-2 of The Startup Way.The book explores how large companies use entrepreneurial technology to innovate and accelerate business growth. It describes how to achieve entrepreneurial work by creating a transformation roadmap. Methods include experimenting and collecting data, promoting entrepreneurial ways of working throughout the organization, and improving support systems such as legal, financial, and human resources. In order to enable domestic entrepreneurs to have a profound and clear understanding of the The Startup Way and to make effective adjustment strategies to improve the overall innovation rate of domestic enterprises, the translation of The Startup Way is particularly crucial. The translation report is divided into four parts. The first chapter introduces the translation project, including the source text, author, theoretical basis and significance of the project. The second chapter introduces the translation process, which includes pre-translation preparation,while-translation and post-translation proofreading. The third chapter is case study, which analyzes how to solve the difficulties encountered in the translation process under the text typology, and what kind of translation strategies and methods to adopt at the lexical, syntactic and textual level. For the professional vocabularies, literal translation with notes is a good way.In terms of diction, the translation into four-character structure is more in line with the target readers' expression habit. As for the syntactic problems, division and inversion are all effective translation techniques. For textual problems, the contextual analysis is based on cohesion and coherence.Chapter four is a summary of the translation report, which points out the shortcomings of this report and hopes to provide some references to future translation studies.
