With the development of human society,language,as the most important carrier of culture,has stepped forward persistently.Among the three elements of language,the relationship between vocabulary and culture is the most closely related.During the long process of human development,animals play a significant role in the development of human society and culture,affecting all aspects of human life.So there are a lot of Words and Expressions with Animal Morphemes in various kinds of language,which is a very essential part in languages.But researches about this aspect are not many.What is more,our students are from different countries and cultural backgrounds.They may encounter various problems in learning Words and Expressions with Animal Morphemes.Based on the needs of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,the researches of Animal Morphemes and Words and Expressions with Animal Morphemes in teaching Chinese as a foreign language is bought out in the following aspects.The first part,briefly explains the purpose,the research methods and the significance of this study.Then introduces and summarizes there search status on Teaching Methodology of Morphemes,Animal Words and Animal Morphemes.In the second part,at first,find out all the 57 Animal Morphemes in the book The Graded Chinese Syllables,Characters and Words for the Application of Teaching Chinese to the Speakers of Other Languages published in 2010,classification and analysis also.What is more,find out all the Words and Expressions with Animal Morphemes and analyze their rules of word-formation.Subsequently,use the Modern Chinese Dictionary(sixth edition,published in 2010)as the corpus source,find out all the Words and Expressions with the Animal Morphemes from the book The Graded Chinese Syllables,Characters and Words for the Application of Teaching Chinese to the Speakers of Other Languages published in 2010.After statistics and analysis,find some special case of these morphemes-morphemes with the same Chinese character or morphemes with the same pronunciation.And also draw the following conclusions:among all the Words and Expressions with Animal Morphemes,double syllable words and expressions have the largest proportion,and four syllable words and expressions are numerous.Most Words and Expressions with Animal Morpheme are noun and composite words.They are formed by compound and affixation.In part three.At first,do exhaustive statistics of Words and Expressions with Animal Morphemes in the primary,intermediate,senior course teaching materials used in school of international education of Anhui University.Then make matching degree analysis with the Animal Morpheme from The Graded Chinese Syllables,Characters and Words for the Application of Teaching Chinese to the Speakers of Other Languages,we find out the matching degree is not high,mainly embodied in Words and Expressions with Animal Morphemes are not enough and the imbalanced species distribution.Then offer some suggestions:according to the requirements of The Graded Chinese Syllables,Characters and Words for the Application of Teaching Chinese to the Speakers of Other Languages,appropriately appear Words and Expressions with Animal Morphemes in the teaching materials.Ensure the repetition rate of Animal Morphemes.Use the Teaching Methodology of Morphemes to improve students' ability of understanding and using vocabulary.In the fourth part,apply theory research to teaching practice.Compare the differences between Teaching Methodology of Morphemes and traditional Teaching Methodology of Vocabulary and find out the advantages of Teaching Methodology of Morphemes.Carry out the teaching of Animal Morphemes to some middle level Chinese students of Anhui University.Use questionnaire to compare the study situations about understanding and using Words of Animal Morpheme between the experimental group and the control group.Come to a conclusion that using Teaching Methodology of Morphemes to learn Words and Expressions with Animal Morphemes can quickly improve students' ability of understanding the meaning of words and expressions and inferring the meaning of new words and expressions.At the same time,80%of students agree that they have the willing to use Words and Expressions with Animal Morphemes but they learn too little from books and classes.Therefore,it is necessary to pay attention to animal morphemes and words and expressions of animal morpheme.Finally,according to the research results,give some suggestions on outline modification,selection and compilation of teaching materials,teaching and studying of words and expressions of animal morphemes,I hope to arouse the attention of the writers of syllabus and teaching material and the majority of teachers of Words and Expressions with Animal Morphemes.
