A Report On Simulated C-E Simultaneous Interpreting Of Group Discussion,the 2nd World Internet Conference

In the recent years,the internet has been developing faster and the world internet conference was held in the aim of establishing an international platform connecting China and the whole world and a Chinese platform in which the world internet is shared and managed by all,and to allow all nations to seek common ground and win-win cooperation.Therefore,due to tremendous interest on the related topic,the author conducted simulated simultaneous interpretation on the group discussion of the2 nd world internet conference,and based on the simulated practice,the author systematically analyzed and summarized the related problems and solutions.The problems include: wrong interpretation,missing interpretation,over-interpretation and inaccurate interpretation,etc.However,the interpreter can adopt corresponding measures to ensure the successful complement of the interpreting task and deliver the target language to the audience.This paper elaborates on the whole task from several perspectives.It briefly discusses the background,requirements and analysis of the task,and also presents information on the world internet conference and its speaking guests.The interpretation process is explored by the author from two parts: the interpretation preparation and the actual interpretation.The author also probes into the quality control and comprehensive evaluation.From this part,the author recognized some of her deficiencies and made related retrospection towards them.Being the core of the paper,problems occurred and their corresponding solutions receive most attention in the paper.From the paper,the author draws lessons from the specific cases and made analysis to them in the hope of applying the learned skills into her future practices.
