Exercise is the main way for language acquisition,and design and preparation of exercise play an important role in teaching Chinese to foreign students.Grammar as the structural regulation is the key to students’ language acquisition.In this dissertation,we choose the grammar exercise of <Developing Chinese.Elementary Comprehensive Course1> as the research object,through reviewing their quantity,type,layout design and effectiveness,summarize the advantage and disadvantage of the grammar exercise,and propose some tips.This thesis is divided into six parts,the first part is instruction,mainly talks about the origin and significance of the topic,the research object and method,as well as previous studies.The second chapter provides the theoretical base.The third chapter makes a statistical analysis of total question quantity,grammar question quantity and grammar exercise proportion,and investigate its moderation.The fourth chapter talks about the type of grammar exercise and classify each item.In the fifth part we make a study on the distribution of grammar exercise,and observe its effectiveness.In the conclusion part,we make a summary of grammar exercise,and puts forward some feasible suggestion.
