Teaching materials play an important role in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.However,in the widely used teaching materials of Chinese as a foreign language,there are still some outstanding problems in grammar arrangement,such as systematicness,practicability and standardization,which directly affect the improvement of Chinese as a foreign language teaching level.Therefore,it is necessary to focus on the compilation of teaching materials and improve the compilation level of teaching materials for Chinese as a foreign language.Based on the theoretical achievements of grammar selection,systematic distribution of grammar and grammatical interpretation in the compilation field of textbooks,this paper focuses on the grammar part of the intermediate comprehensive textbooks of the four sets of textbooks,namely,liberal Chinese,developing Chinese,new practical Chinese textbooks and new goals of Chinese.Firstly,the number,type and difficulty of grammatical items in four sets of textbooks are counted,and then the contents of grammatical item selection,grammatical interpretation and systematic distribution of grammar are compared and analyzed.Finally,reasonable Suggestions for improvement are given.The number of grammatical items in the four sets of textbooks is as follows: 130 liberal Chinese,150 developing Chinese,102 new Chinese goals and 81 new practical Chinese textbooks.This paper makes an empirical analysis of the correspondence between the four sets of textbooks and the syllabus,and finds that there are some contents beyond the scope of the syllabus in the textbooks,and these grammatical items are used less frequently.Forexample,some grammatical items with classical nature and some colloquial grammatical items should be replaced with a grammar that better matches the learner's current learning stage.Generally speaking,the new practical Chinese textbook has a good effect in implementing the grammar grade outline.In terms of the systematic arrangement of grammatical items,the new practical Chinese textbook is better than the liberal Chinese,the development of Chinese and the new goal of Chinese.In terms of the interpretation and explanation of grammatical items,some sentences selected in the new Chinese target are incomplete,and the other three sets of textbooks are not satisfactory.If the sentence taken from the text is incomplete,it should not be used as an example sentence.The grammatical items to be covered in this lesson should be retained and other parts modified to ensure that correct and typical example sentences are presented to students.In addition,the grammatical definitions of the new practical Chinese textbook should not be explained entirely in English.New Chinese target and new practical Chinese textbook,two sets of textbooks with foreign language annotation,should pay attention to the gradual reduction of foreign language annotation with the improvement of students' Chinese proficiency.
