| Currently,online recruitment has become a vital channel for company recruitment and job hunting.The recruitment pages are attracting more and more public attention.Color is one of the fundamental elements in recruitment webpages.Its choice and arrangement meeting the demands of job seekers or not,will have great influence on their feelings and experiences.In order to promote the color design of recruitment website in line with the job seekers’ preferences,improve the user experience,the study combines eye movement technology with subjective scoring method,to explore the color preference of college students in recruitment webpages.The study is divided into two experiments,starting from colors and color attributes,to probe into the preferences of theme colors and text colors on recruitment page and the different preferences among college students with various vocational personalities.Experiment 1 starting from colors to probe into college students’ preferences of the theme color and text color in recruitment pages.The results showed in 4 theme colors: red,green,blue,black,college students tended to pursue black,blue and red but green was put aside.Among these 4 text colors,black and blue were the most welcomed color,followed by red,green came to the least.As to the match of theme colors and text colors,students generally resisted the complementary-color-matching and the same-color-matching.Additionally,there weren’t any diversities in the preferences of theme colors and text colors of college students with different vocational personalities.Experiment 2 investigated college students’ preferences of the theme color and text color in recruitment pages from the levels of brightness.It turned out that low brightness of theme colors was more welcomed by college students.And for the text color,college students showed their love in medium lightness and low brightness.Furthermore,the study also found that college students with diverse vocational personalities didn’t have many differences in the preference of brightness of text colors and theme colors.Based on the experimental results,it concluded that the preferences of college students for online recruitment pages had nothing to do with vocational personalities.College students all liked black,blue and red theme,instead of green one among these four colors;For the text color,college students like black and blue best,followed by red,green came to the least;For collection of theme and text color,students extensively showed dislike towards matches of complementary colors or homochromy;As for the brightness of theme color,they generally like low brightness,do not like the medium and high brightness;For the brightness of text color,they prefer medium and low brightness rather than the high. |
