The Beauty Implies Of Science And Rationality—Analyze The Traditional Ceramic Plum Vase With Mathematical Principle

The Plum vase is an important type of ceramic wares in our China.Nowadays its research is mainly embodied in the archaeological excavation,the origin of the name,the functional textual criticism,the decoration style,the aesthetic characteristics,the aesthetic thought,the production craft and so on.The paper emphatically researched the shape of Plum vase with scientific analysis,by applying mathematical statistics method,function analysis,chart comparison method,the lever principle and ergonomics principle,process data of the Plum vase shape size,the changing proportion,the angle formed by center of the mouth to the widest point of the abdomen with the central axis and shape contour curve change according to the time sequence of each dynasty in order to find the vase evolution trend and law,try to explain the evolution of traditional ceramic vase shape function of rationality and unique aesthetic value from the perspective of scientific rationality.This article carry on the analysis from four aspects: Firstly,analyze and study the name,function,local characteristics and the aesthetic characteristics of the Plum vase,based on the ancient literature,contemporary archaeology and related research results.Secondly,emphatically researched the shape of Plum vase with scientific analysis,by applying mathematical statistics method,function analysis,chart comparison method,the force analysis of physics,the lever principle and ergonomics principle,process data of the Plum vase shape size,the changing proportion,and shape contour curve change according to the time sequence of each dynasty.Thirdly,analyze the evolution of the traditional ceramic bottle shape.Finally,summarize the Plum vase's beauty implied in reason,which is characterized by rational beauty,as well as the beauty of form and function.The main results of the study: Firstly,the Plum vase shape size,proportion changed gradually,shape size has a tendency to become small,delicate,which further verified that the Plum vases function evolved gradually from daily wine vessels into wares for display in the Ming and Qing dynasties.Secondly,the author find the reasonable explanation of shape and function evolution from the variation of the data,and explain the artistic value of the vase from the mathematical level.Thirdly,analyze and summarize the reasons of the traditional ceramic vase shape evolution: Firstly,the internal demand of the functional evolution.Secondly,the improvements of the materials and processing technology.Thirdly,the requirements of man machine engineering economic principle.Fourthly,oriented by the trend of the times and aesthetic tastes.This study used scientific rational methods research the rational explanation for the evolution of shape and function of the traditional ceramic vase,and analyze the vase art value from the mathematical perspective,expand the research ideas and research methods of traditional ceramic vase,provides the new directions and perspectives for later researchers.
