By using the questionnaires of Social Support Questionnaire, Self-esteem Scale and Learning Burnout Scale for Undergraduates, and selecting 447 undergraduates from secondary vocational school in three universities as the research objects and 301 students from vocational schools as reference samples, we get a knowledge of the overall learning burnout condition of undergraduates from secondary vocational schools, discuss respectively the effects of social support and self-esteem on learning burnout, and investigate the intermediary role the self-esteem plays between social support and learning burnout. On the basis of the research mentioned above, we put forward some suggestions for the reform of vocational education. The results are as follows:(1) The phenomenon of learning burnout is universal among undergraduates from secondary vocational school. The overall level of undergraduates from secondary vocational school investigated falls into the medium range, and is more serious than that of vocational school students.(2) For the learning burnout situation among undergraduates from vocational school, there are significant differences on home place and grade, but no differences on sex, only-child, family structure.(3) Compared with students from secondary vocational school, undergraduates from secondary vocational school owns a higher level of self-esteem, and no significant difference exists on the levels of social support.(4) For undergraduates from secondary vocational school, there exist a negative correlation between social support and learning burnout, and also a negative correlation between the levels of self-esteem and learning burnout; the self-esteem plays the partially intermediary role between social support and learning burnout.Based on the results mentioned above, we suggest educators to supply high levels of social support to directly decrease the level of learning burnout on undergraduates from secondary vocational school. At the same time, educators can use social support's effects on self-esteem to decrease their level of learning burnout indirectly.
