Friendly exchanges between China and Southeast Asia begun in ancient times,according to professor Zhuang Guotu, during 2007 to 2008, there are more than 40 million overseas Chinese around the world, Southeast Asia's accounted for 73% and the number of Chinese in Thailand ranked the second in this area, about 9 million people, so the study of Chinese in Thailand is significant,Chinese education the same as well.When author served as a Chinese contest judges, learned that Ubon Ratchathani Chinese School 2 cultivated 3 Chinese bridge world champions, so I pay a visit to that school to find out why a new school(established in 2005) could have that achievement.This paper will begin with Chinese education history under the background of Chinese society in Thailand, followed by current situation and characters of Chinese schools,then focus on Ubon Ratchathani Chinese School 2 to analysis it`s survey,settings and faculty,indicating its advantages and successful reasons,finally estimate the development trend of Chinese schoolin Thailand.
