As a foundation and an important part of the teaching Chinese language, vocabulary teaching has always been under the attention and concern of the TCFL workers. Speaking of teaching Chinese vocabulary, the tone, shape, meaning and the use of words would come to be studied. This paper mainly studied the classroom design based on vocabulary teaching in Chinese of the Thai secondary school, and its emphasis was on figuring out what could help Thai high school students get a better grasp of the Chinese vocabulary through the classroom teaching. Meanwhile through this research, it was the lack of teaching Chinese vocabulary in Thai secondary school classroom was found, and so was the ways of efficient and improvement.This paper gives a more comprehensive introduction to the Thai secondary school students’learning Chinese characteristics, their points of interest, as well as the current situation for teaching Chinese vocabulary in the classroom of Thailand middle school. The author took the full advantage of internship opportunities in Thailand, meanwhile a variety of forms and means of like classroom observation, the communication between teachers and students, questionnaires, and sitting in on a class were used for the research inspection. And then the survey data analyzed to identify common features of Thai secondary school students’learning Chinese and Thai secondary schools’Potential problems in the classroom vocabulary teaching.The author systematically put forward the further survey results based recommendations and improvements. The improvement program was designed following the basic principles of vocabulary teaching and general law of students’ language acquisition, What’s more, the program design was in line with the current situation of Thailand middle school vocabulary Teaching. Our recommendations and methods aim to improve teaching effectiveness, considering students as the core, and strive to help students get a firm grasp of the Chinese vocabulary knowledge, while and stimulating their interest in learning Chinese. Specific examples and diagrams were used to illustrate the design method of operation. Besides feasible ways of improving every aspect of the Chinese vocabulary classroom are propounded.At last the author gave a specific teaching test case to prove the feasibility and effectiveness of the improved program, at same time in the practice problems would continually be found out and be solved. The article also summarizes the opinions and suggestions of other Chinese teachers, students and the author’s own teaching reflection. I hope that this study can improve the effect of the initial stage of Chinese Vocabulary Teaching in Thailand to help the first arrived Chinese teachers’in Thailand faster adaptation and integration into the Chinese language teaching.
