The strength of cultural soft power is the key factor for a country to firmly stand on the international stage for a long time.To improve the cultural soft power of the country, we should stick to carrying on the strategy of “bringing in ”and “sending out”in the process of obtaining the information.Firstly, “bringing in,it means to know about the development and change of the situation abroad, and how to report and evaluate us. Secondly, “sending out”, which is based on “bringing in” refers to disseminate our information to abroad. However, no matter which one, translation is playing a significant role in carrying out them. The article focuses on the research to the news from The Chinese and Japanese version of People's Daily Online, Xinhua Online, major websites at home and abroad and newspapers. I t uses the theory of eco-translatology to interpret whether the translations are reasonable from the points of translational eco-environment, adaptation and selection on translators, the central role of translators, multi-dimensional integration and symbiotic of eco-translatology. As a result, it may provides some useful experiences to journalist-translators to produce the best works so as to enhance the national cultural soft power. The paper makes a research by combining theoretical and practical certification, which consists of four parts: The first part gives an introduction of the research, including a conclusion for eco-translatology and the research status of news translation as well as the reaserch purpose and significance of the paper. The second part makes detailed analysis and illustration on translational ecoenvironment influencing news translation in the macroscopic view, which includes political factors, national interests, values, national feelings, historical and cultural environment and readers feedback. Then, it shows how the translators employ the translation means such as addition and deletion, adaptation interpretation in particular news translation instances in order to illustrate the central position of the translator. The fourth part makes an explanation and demonstration on multi-dimensional integration of eco-translatology from three aspects, namely linguistic dimension, cultural dimension, communicative dimension. Then, it points out that different kinds of translated-texts can be symbiotic in different translational ecoenvironments.Eco-translatology holds that the best translation should be those ones, whose degree of holistic adaptation and selection are the highest. The author attempts to analysize translational eco-environment where news translation occur by this paper. Besides, the author employs particular examples to prove that ecotranslatology could guide the news translation in practice and could make reasonable explaination on special news tranlation phenomenons so as to provide some useful experiences for news translation of Japanese and improve the accuracy of news translation.
