The Influence Of Parent-Child Attachment On Children's Creative Tendency:Autonomy As A Mediator

Creativity is always an important issue in the field of psychology.The development of creativity was affected by individual factors,environmental factors and their interactions.As an important part of creativity,creativity tendency played an indispensable role in the development of creativity.Reseachers were focus on the teenagers' creative personality traits and many researches had studied the influential factors such as individual factors(eg.motivation,intelligence and personality)and environmental factors(eg.family environment and parenting style),but the interaction of individual and environmental was ignored.Early childhood is the critical period of creative development,but few research has been done on children's creative tendency.So the present study investigated 444 children's creative tendency and the influential factors which contain social economic status,parent-child attachment and children's autonomy.The conclusions are as follows:(1)Generally,children has high attachment security.The score of parent-child attachment has gender difference,and girls'have higher attachment security than boys';There is no difference among different age group,but young children's attachment exploratory behavior is more than the top class children in the kindergarten,and children in the top class have more social activities.(2)Generally,children has high autonomy.The girls' score of children autonomy is higher than the boys';The score of autonomy is increased successively with age.(3)The score of children creative tendency is normal distribution.There is no gender difference in the score of children creative tendency,but the boys' curiosity is higher than the girls';And there is no age difference in the score of children creative tendency.(4)Children' family social economic status is negatively correlation with parent-child?attachment and autonomy.There is no correlation between social economic status and children's creative tendency.(5)Children's parent-child attachment,autonomy,creativity tendency and their dimensions have positively correlation with each other.(6)Chidren's parent-child attachment security and autonomy could predict the level of creative tendency significantly,and children's autonomy is a partial mediator between parent-child attachment and creative tendency.
