As an interdisciplinary subject between the science of law and economics, legal economics, also called as economic analysis of law, rose and developed since the 1950-1960 s. At present, the studies of this discipline in our country are still at an early stage, and there are relatively few scholars engaged in the researches on this subject. During the current and future studies and researches, there are needs to draw lessons from the latest theories and viewpoints at abroad. Therefore, the texts excerpted from this translation practice come from the latest legal economics works, i.e. Public Policy Analysis based on Law and Economics written and finalized by Tsuneki Atsushi in 2012. Featured with strong professionalism, innovative contents, new views and timeliness, the texts excerpted have the significance of translation practice.In the daily practice of translation, the translation of literary works. The translation of the humanities and social sciences such as economics and law is limited. This report combines the characteristics of legal economics text, and analyzes the translation strategies of legal economics texts.Composed of the introduction, translation task description, translation process description, case analysis, practice summary and other components, this practice report provides a detailed description of the entire translation practices. "Task description" chapter introduces the background of the task and the text characteristic; "translation process description chapter, introduces the preparation before translation, translation process, translation revise translation of the whole process.Among the rest, the part of case analysis bases upon a certain amount of translation practices, strives to find out the characteristics of legal economics literature through the ongoing translation practices, gives examples of translations in words, sentences and economics charts and conduct analysis, so as to get accurate and idiomatic translated texts.In the summary and conclusion part, the whole translation process is summarized, and the corresponding conclusion is drawn.Through this translation practice, it is expected to accumulate some experiences for the translation of legal economics literature in the future, make full use of the instrumental role of translation, continuously obtain in-depth knowledge of this discipline, absorb the latest research results at abroad and get through with the accumulations for the future studies and researches in this field.
