Reformation which started in the 16 th century in Europe liberated people’s thinking, promoted the development of culture and education in Western Europe, and provided important thoughts for the early bourgeois revolution. China is a multi-ethnic country with extensive religious foundation. Different nations in China have different religious beliefs. Therefore, we must explore positive factors in religions and exert their positive energy effects on Chinese dream.This report describes the whole translation practice process, analyzes relevant problems and makes a conclusion on the basis of a simulated translation project——Chapter 21(excerpt)of Handbook of the Economics of Art and Culture. The handbook which collects important research contributions from culture economics is of strategic importance to the development of cultural industry. Chapter 21 mainly introduces that economics of religion plays an important role in the development of human society.The report can be divided into four parts, including task introduction, process description, case analysis and conclusion. Task introduction tells basically the project background, source as well as text features. Process Description mainly describes preparations before translation, choice of translation theory and skills, the use of parallel text as well as proofreading & review. Case analysis is the core of the report.In terms of problems and methods, the author selects related cases to analyze. The last part is conclusion, in which the author self-reflects the whole translation project,discusses gains in the project and looks into the future.
