Career Decision-Making Self-efficacy played an important role in the personal development and career direction, especially in every activities happened in career decision progress. This study discusses how to improve and promote the college students' career decision-making self-efficacy which based on the comparison of Chinese and Japanese college students'career decision-making self-efficacy. And in order to help college students find their ideal career smoothly.This study surveyed Chinese and Japanese college students with the College Students Career Decision Making Self-efficacy Scale revised by Hackett and Betz. And two scales from Chinese and Japanese showed better reliability and validity. And the results are as follows:Chinese students'career decision-making self-efficacy reached the median level. There were significant differences in grade and birthplace, but no difference in gender and major variables. The parts of object selection, problem solving and the career decision-making self-efficacy of junior and senior students were better than sophomore, and there is no significant difference in juniors and seniors. And data showed the level of career decision-making self-efficacy and the dimensions of self-assessment, object selection, information collection and problem solving of college students came from city were higher than students came from town and countryside. However, students came from city were just better than students came from countryside in the dimension of problem solving.And secondly, the level of career decision-making self-efficacy of Japanese students form Nagasaki University was same with Chinese. Science students'career decision-making self-efficacy and the problem solving scores are higher than the liberal arts students. In addition, the level of problem solving of liberal arts male students were high than science male students.In the end, by comparison, Chinese college students level of self-assessment and making plans are higher than Japanese, especially in the dimension of making plans. But information collection and problem solving of Japanese college students are better than Chinese. The problem solving of Japanese sophomore and junior students were better than Chinese, and Japanese sophomore students'career decision-making self-efficacy and the object selection were better than Chinese.
