In 2021,with the release of the Chinese Proficiency Level Standards for International Chinese Language Education,scientific and standardized national guidelines for the compilation of international Chinese language textbooks have emerged.However,due to the recent release of the New Standards,there are still many problems in the compilation of international Chinese language textbooks that need to be studied.Based on the vocabulary compilation of elementary comprehensive Chinese textbooks,this paper takes two sets of elementary comprehensive Chinese textbooks of the new standard--The Great Wall Chinese ·Survival Communication(1)(2)(revised edition)and Huitong Chinese(Edited Edition)(1)(2)as the research object,and makes a scientific analysis of the vocabulary compilation of elementary comprehensive Chinese textbooks under the new standard.The purpose of this paper is to answer the following two questions: First,the implementation of the vocabulary compilation of primary comprehensive Chinese textbooks under the new standard in terms of vocabulary size,vocabulary level,vocabulary repetition,vocabulary practice and other aspects.Second,base on the comparison and analysis results of the Great Wall Chinese · Survival Communication(1)(2)(revised edition)and Huitong Chinese(Edited Edition)(1)(2),figure out how to arrange vocabulary of textbook.Through research and analysis,the paper draws the following conclusions:(1)In terms of total vocabulary,the total vocabulary of the two sets of elementary comprehensive Chinese textbooks basically conforms to the range of elementary level 1vocabulary of the International Chinese Language Education Chinese Proficiency Standards;In terms of unit vocabulary,the changes of unit vocabulary in the two primary comprehensive Chinese textbooks are generally more balanced.(2)In terms of vocabulary level,the new words in the two sets of elementary comprehensive Chinese textbooks are mainly elementary words,and the distribution of vocabulary level is in the form of ladder.At the same time,both sets of textbooks have a reasonable proportion of supersyllabic words.(3)In terms of vocabulary repetition,the vocabulary repetition of the two sets of primary comprehensive Chinese textbooks meets the requirements of input frequency on the whole,but the vocabulary reaching the standard needs to be improved.In terms of vocabulary practice,the two sets of primary comprehensive Chinese textbooks practice vocabulary for Chinese learners from various aspects,with comprehension vocabulary exercises as the main practice,and other practice question types as a supplement.In terms of the amount of practice questions,the two sets of primary comprehensive Chinese textbooks kept stable and did not fluctuate greatly.
