With the development of the Teaching of Chinese as a foreign language(TCFL),the culturally-loaded words Teaching of the TCFL is also becoming father and wider interested by the educational worker. The color-words is a representative part of culturally-loaded words that the paper addressed, so this has made the color words teaching became a part of Vocabulary Teaching. Because of the intimate connection between color words and culture,therefore, people with different cultural background have different understanding about the meaning of the color words.Therefore, this paper introduces the meaning of five basic Chinese color words from the cultural angle, and questionnaires are used to find the level of English and American abroad students master and use the meaning of five basic Chinese color words. Summarize current situation of abroad students use five basic Chinese color words of TCFL, then analyze investigation result from some respects, and give some suggestions to color words teaching. This paper hopes to give some enlightens to Culture Teaching of TCFL.
