| In the language, the most active factor shall be the vocabulary. And the most dazzling class is the color words, which are not only have wide range of applications but also have the “special character” in Chinese culture. So color words has the incomparable role in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, and the culture meaning in the color words is more important and special.Color words refer to the cultural meaning other than the physical meaning, it means it is close to the nation’s culture,which produces a series of related cultural words. As we all know, china has a thousand years of history, and Chinese itself is complicated and richness, so even the most basic color words, it can have the very profound cultural connotation and the cultural shadow of Han nationality.So this is inevitably makes the barriers for language learning and cross-cultural communication. All in all, the basic color words should be given more attention in the teaching. In the school where I teach,students’ difficulties in learning the cultural meaning of the color words is my resistance in my teaching. And I believe that this resistance isinevitable in teaching Chinese as a foreign language of the other countries.For the primary cause of these difficulties, some experts and scholars already have made unremitting efforts, in order to solve these problems and promote the development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The focus of this paper lies in teaching study of color words with their cultural meaning in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. This article through the definition of basic color words in teaching Chinese as a second language for Mongolia, and the expound of cultural meaning of color words, puts forward the assumption that the errors made by students here mainly come from the influence of native language and target language. And in the questionnaire, we will confirm this idea through students’ errors of the result. And the writer puts forward the corresponding teaching strategies and techniques, hopes to lighten the career of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, especially to Mongolia’s Chinese teaching.This article is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction, it mainly introduce the meaning,the reason, the research object of this paper’s content.The second part mainly expounds the definition’s study of the basic color words in teaching Chinese as a second language for Mongolia. And also the writer expounds the similarities and differences of the basic color words in teaching Chinese as a second language for Mongolia.The third part is mainly carries on the analysis according to the questionnaire on which the students reflected the problems. and how students of Mengen comprehensive school in Mongolia grasp the cultural meaning of Chinese color words, by means of error analysis, in order to find the reason that impact the learning of cultural meaning of Chinese color words.The fourth part is the theory combine with the practice. The writer through the analysis of the questionnaire’s results and the practical teaching experience to put forward some teaching methods and skills.The fifth part is the conclusion part, which summarizes the whole thesis. |
