In recent years, with the rapid development of Chinese economy, teaching Chinese as a foreign language is also booming. Not only do foreign students come to China to learn a language, but they also want to know more Chinese culture, what is more, they wish they have no obstacle to communicate with Chinese people. Due to the Chinese as a foreign language reading teaching material contains a lot of cultural information, Therefore, reading teaching has become a channel that international students understand the Chinese culture. However, due to the increased amount of reading material culture, leading to reading more difficult, many students don’t understand the culture behind the language knowledge and thus affecting reading comprehension. To solve these problems, this article selects a breakthrough point, namely importing Chinese culture in the Chinese as a foreign language reading teaching, discusses the application of culture teaching in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language reading.The author collected and studied the predecessors’ study of cultural introduction in language teaching, combined with his own teaching experience, with the development of Chinese, intermediate reading (Ⅰ,Ⅱ) as an example, from two aspects of students and teaching materials to explore the feasibility of culture teaching. And putting forward in the intermediate Chinese as a foreign language reading teaching, teachers can follow the principle of moderation, relevance and interest, on the basis of combining the historical allusions, designing related activities, and adopting the way of multimeding teaching means import culture. And then writing the reading lesson plans which cultural import concrete are applied in the teaching, at the same time putting them into teaching practice. By observing the performance of the students in the class, basing on investigation on the students and interviewing, in order to get the students’feedback, concluding that the content of the import, the cultural quality of teachers, and students, these factors could affect the cultural differences between students in reading teaching.In this article, through importing related culture in reading teaching, to help students understand the cultural connotations behind the article, reducing the difficulty of the reading material, improving the level of the students’ reading comprehension.
