In recent years,there has been an increasing number of researches on micro-classes,and a number of excellent micro-class resources have emerged in China.During my internship in a Thai middle school,I found that students had little understanding of Chinese daily life culture,and tried to apply micro-class to the cultural classroom teaching.By introducing Chinese food,clothing,housing and transportation,students will have a better understanding of the real,three-dimensional and comprehensive China,increase students’ understanding of Chinese culture,enhance their interest and motivation in learning Chinese,improve classroom teaching efficiency,and increase the utilization rate of teaching resources.First of all,by consulting literature about micro-class analysis,instructional design of micro-classes,micro-class application practice and other aspects,to understand the necessity and feasibility of micro-class teaching and cultural teaching,and explore how to apply micro-class to cultural class teaching in the classroom.Secondly,in the cultural teaching curriculum with Thai high school students as the teaching object,the pre-analysis of the teaching objects,courses and application of the micro-classes was carried out,and then the micro-class design and production with the theme of "food,clothing,housing and transportation" was carried out.Then apply the prepared micro-classes to teaching practice,and after the completion of the micro-class teaching,summarize the teaching effects of the micro-classes through feedback on the teaching effect,course evaluation,and teaching reflection.It was found that the application of micro-classes made up for the language communication barriers between teachers and students,improved classroom effects,and stimulated students’ interest in learning;at the same time,due to the intuitive and vivid content of micro-classes,students have a more specific and accurate understanding of Chinese culture.Finally,relevant suggestions are put forward for the effective combination of micro-class teaching and classroom teaching,which can provide reference for the research of micro-class teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages.
