?Objective?To discuss the curative effect and relative merits about the treatment through Ankle Joint Guide device based on 3D print design and Empirical nature for syndesmosis tibiofibularis injury.?Methods?From December 2015 to November 2017,41 cases of ankle fracture with inferior tibiofibular syndesmosis injury were studied retrospectively.According to the operation method,it was divided into three groups: the ankle joint guide guided by 3D printing and the experimental group(all referred to as the experimental group)and the experimental group(all referred to as the control group).There were 26 males and 15 females,aged 18-65 years(mean 40.17 ±14.02 years).There were 18 cases in the experimental group and 23 cases in the control group.The duration of operation,the times of transmission of C-arm,the amount of blood lost during operation and the functional changes of ankle joint after operation were observed,and the patients were followed up regularly.One year after operation,the recovery of each patient was evaluated according to the AOFAS ankle function scoring system.?Results?All 41 patients were followed up and evaluated.In the control group,the mean operative duration was 85.83 ± 15.08 min,the average number of C-arm transmission was 8.09 ±1.62,and the mean blood loss was 81.04 ±14.28 ml.The average duration of surgery in the experimental group was 74.94 ±14.28 min,and the average transmission number of C brachial machines in the operation was 7.06 ±1.55,and the average bleeding amount was 69.72±14.43 ml during the operation.Regular postoperative follow-up for 1 year and at last the excellent and good rate in the control group was 67.5%,and the excellent and good rate in the experimental group was 78%.?Conclusion?The insertion of tibiofibular screw under the guide of ankle joint guide based on 3D printing can reduce the operation time,reduce the amount of intraoperative bleeding,and reduce the transmission times of C-arm machine during operation.Although the excellent and good rate of the test group was higher than that of the control group,due to the small number of samples,it is not yet possible to consider that the long-term effect of the ankle guided tibiofibular screw implantation based on 3D printing design is better than that of the empirical tibiofibular screw implantation.
