Objective: To compare the difference between the patients of bacterial liver abscess with and without diabetes mellitus,the clinical experience of diagnosis and treatment were provided for directing the clinical treatment and relieving from pain.Methods: A retrospective collection,sorting,analysis of our hospital between January 2011 and April 2017 clinical data of 40 cases of liver abscess in hospital,the patients can be divided into bacterial liver abscess in diabetic and non-diabetic bacterial liver abscess in the two groups.Their age,sex,clinical manifestation,laboratory examination,imaging data,abscess characteristics,treatment and effectiveness wound been analyzed for statistical analysis.Results: There were no statistically significant differences between the two groups(P >0.05).There were significant differences in abdominal pain and fatigue.(P < 0.05).High levels of urea,elevated creatinine,and low calcium were significantly different in the two groups(P < 0.05).Diabetes mellitus(P < 0.05)was affected by the results of diabetes in creatinine and urea nitrogen.Age was affected by the results of amino transferase and aspartate aminotransferase(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05).There was no significant difference in the number of abscesses(P >0.05).In this study,both groups of blood cultures or abscesses were developed by klebsiella pneumoniae.There was a difference in the two groups(P < 0.05)for the initial diagnosis of liver abscess.The two groups had no difference in average length of hospital stay(P >0.05).With and without diabetes mellitus,and the influence of different gender,different age have no difference for hospitalization days(P > 0.05),but different treatment affects hospitalization days(P < 0.05).Conclusion: Bacterial liver abscess of clinical manifestations is atypical.However,Bacterial liver abscess with diabetes mellitus are more hidden than non-diabetic patients about abdominal pain,fatigue.And renal function is easier to be changed on the patient of bacterial liver abscess with diabetes mellitus.Whether the patient of Bacterial liver abscess with diabetes mellitus or not,different treatment has no affection on the prognosis.
