Objective: To study the bone mineral density(BMD)in patients with type 2 di abetes mellitus(T2DM)and to explore the risk factors leading to the occurrence of osteoporosis(OP)and to give positive prevention. Methods: In this study,we analyzed 108 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who are in our hospital. The BMD o-f the left femoral neck, total hip and lumbar vertebrae(L1-L4)was measured by dua-l energy X-ray absorptiometry. The osteoporosis group was divided into osteoporosis group(OP)and non-osteoporosis group(non-OP),and two groups compared by differ-ences factors such as the age, sex, body mass index(BMI),diabetes duration, fasting blood glucose(FBG),glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1C),serum calcium, blood phosph-orus,alkaline phosphatase(ALP),parathyroid hormone(PTH),triglyceride(TG),Total cholesterol(TC),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),25(OH)D to make the correlation analysis. Results: Age,sex, medical history, blood glucose, alkaline phosphatase were the risk factors of OP in T2 DM patients, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).By using multivariable logistic regression analysis, age, duration of disease,BMI,HbA1 C,ALP were risk factors of T2 DM combined with OP(P<0.05);Among them,BMI was the protect-ve factor;age, course of disease,Hb A1 C and ALP were the main risk factors.Con c-lusion: Patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus as well as the advanced age, long co u-rse of disease, low BMI,poor blood glucose control, high ALP level are more like l-y to have a lower bone mineral density, leading to an increased risk of osteoporosis. So they should be given high attention. |
