Objective:To investigate the relationship between gene polymorphismof S1?S2locus allele in ADAM33 gene and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease inXinjiang Uygur population in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Methods:In total, there were100 cases of uyghur COPD and 140 healthy uyghurs in the control group. The peripheral blood of the experimental group and the control group were extracted and the DNA was extracted. The polymorphism of ADAM33 gene S1 and S2 was detected by polymerase chain reaction-restrictive fragment length polymorphism(PCR—RFLP).Results:There are more patients of B and C grade about 35%and 28%;compared with the control group, the genotype and allele frequency distribution of the ADAM33 gene S1 site were significantly different(?~2was 11.410,11.550,(49)<0.05).Logistic regression analysis:The genotype of the S1 site(CT+TT)genotype is likely to be the protective genetic factor(OR value and 95%CI of 0.116(0.023-0.590)for the onset of chronic lung disease. There was no statistically significant difference between the genotype and allele frequency distribution of S2 site((49)>0.05).The single-body analysis of S1 and S2 sites was not associated with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease((49)>0.05)in xinjiang uygur population.in the COPD group, the FEV1/FVC,FEV1/expected value of pulmonary function of the S1 site SNPs and COPD patients were not correlated((49)>0.05).Conclusion:the S1 site of ADAM33 gene in xinjiang uygur ethnic group is related to the susceptibility of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
