Clinical Study Of Acupotomy On Lumbar Disc Herniation

ObjectiveThrough the clinical observation of acupotomy on lumbar disc herniation,evaluate the therapeutic effects and compared with traditional electro acupuncture,providing the ideas for the acupotomy treatment and optimizing the acupuncture points of LDH,promoting the development of acupotomy medicine,which can better serve and guide the clinical,finally to improve the curative effects.Methods96 cases of LDH patients who got treated at acupuncture department in Hubei Province Hospital of TCM all included,from NOV.2016 to DEC.2017.All cases randomly divided into a treatment group 48 cases(treated with tiaojitongdu acupotomy)and a control group 48 cases(treated with traditional electro acupuncture),finally 46 cases of acupotomy group and 45 cases of acupuncture group were accepted all treatment.Acupotomy in the treatment of five days once,1 times for a course,electro acupuncture once a day,4 times for a course,totally treat 3 courses and follow-up in the treatment of two weeks after the end,the entire research cycle is 30 days.The index change of VAS scores and JOA scores in two groups were recorded before and after the treatment,to determine the recent curative effects,and two weeks after the end of the treatment,to compare the long-term curative effect difference such as recurrence.ResultsGeneral information Two groups of patients at baseline,including gender,age,disease duration and so on,were no difference(P>0.05).The scores of VAS There was no difference in VAS between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After 3 courses of treatment,the scores of VAS were reduced apparently and lower than the electro acupuncture group(P<0.05).But there was no significant difference in follow-up 2 weeks(P>0.05).The scores of JOA There was no difference in JOA between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).In 3 courses of treatment and follow-up 2 weeks,there were significant statistically(P<0.05).Clinical efficacy The comparison of the two groups showed that the total effective rate was no statistically significant(P>0.05),but the acupotomy group is more effective(P<0.05).The recurrence rate was lower than the electro acupuncture group follow-up 2 weeks(P<0.05).Safety evaluation There were no serious adverse reactions during the course of treatment in both groups of patients.ConclusionTiaojitongdu acupotomy in the treatment of LDH is safe and effective,having good analgesic effect,working quickly,improving the lumbar function and reducing the recurrence.So there are advantages in the near-term and long-term effects.Tiaojitongdu acupotomy is more easy to operate,saving time and avoiding pain compared with acupuncture,Hence,this therapy deserves to be promoted in clinical practice.
