| Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Qiwei Baizhu Powder for the treatment of children with anorexia(spleen and stomach qi deficiency syndrome)through long-term clinical research,and to explore the modern pharmacological effects and mechanism of Qiweibaizhu Powder,so as to expand the scope of its clinical treatment,to clinical diagnosis and treatment of anorexia.Provide new treatment ideas and clinical medications.Methods From January 2016 to January 2017,the children who came to the outpatients of the Hubei Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine(Huayuanshan and Optics Valley)were studied for routine analysis of growth and development(thyroid function and blood glucose).After the growth hormone,vitamin D,blood routine,liver and kidney function,etc.),the patients with thyroid function,normal blood sugar,and diagnosis of anorexia(spleen and stomach qi deficiency)were selected and 60 cases were collected according to the order of visits.It is numbered 1-60 in order.Of which the average age of all children visited was(6.20±1.97)years;the weight at the initial visit was measured.The average weight of the children recorded was(20.16±4.34)kg.The mean duration of the calculation was(72.86±44.54)weeks.60 cases of children were given Qiweibaizhu powder and vitamin D deficiency or lack of vitamin D treatment.The dosage of single herb is flexibly added or subtracted according to the age of the children.All of them are Sanjiuzhijian granules,warm boiled water,1 tablet per day,3 sets of morning,middle and evening warm clothes,1 course of treatment for 2 weeks,and 6 treatments in total.Weeks are 3 courses.Observe changes in body weight,hemoglobin,and trace elements(blood zinc,blood iron,blood lead),BMI,and vitamin D before and after treatment,and use the loss of appetite and food intake as the main symptoms to reduce the number of appearances,apathy,and loose stools.Such as secondary symptoms,recording and statistics of the main symptoms before and after treatment and secondary symptoms points,in order to judge the clinical efficacy of Qiweibaizhu Powder;monitor children's vital signs,monitoring before and after treatment of children with thyroid function,blood glucose,blood,liver and kidney Functionality,etc.,in order to judge the clinical safety of Qiweibaishu Powder.Results Sixty children with anorexia had completed a 6-week clinical study.Among them,11 cases were cured,26 cases were markedly effective,18 cases were effective,and 5 cases were ineffective.The total effective rate was 91.6%.Through the analysis of body weight,there was no change in body weight gain(P=0.531)during the first 2 weeks of treatment compared with before treatment,and body weight increased at the4 th and 6th weeks after treatment compared with before treatment(p=0.00);From the 4th week to the 6th week after the weight gain was obvious and the weight gain was large.The BMI was calculated by monitoring the height and weight of the children before and after treatment.The average BMI before treatment was(18.02±1.76),the average BMI after treatment was(18.31±22.33),and the p value was 0.192(p>0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in BMI before treatment and after treatment.There was no difference between the two groups,and the change in body size was not significant.From the laboratory observations,hemoglobin increased compared with before treatment(p=0.00);trace elements,including blood zinc,blood iron content increased significantly before treatment(p = 0.00),blood lead levels than treatment There was no significant change before(p=0.130);among the 60 patients,21 had vitamin D deficiency,22 had vitamin D deficiency,and 43 patients had vitamin D treatment at the same time.The p value was 0.000,which was significantly better than before treatment..Through statistical analysis of TCM syndrome scores,it was found that the syndrome scores of the main syndrome with loss of appetite and decreased food intake were significantly higher than before treatment(p = 0.00);minor symptoms were less lazy,loose stools,and less complexion.The scores of syndromes of Chinese and abdominal distensions also showed significant changes(p-value =0.00);however,the scores of mental apathy and emesis syndrome of the secondary diseases did not change from those before treatment(p values were 0.27,0.7).There were no abnormalities in the changes of vital signs,liver and kidney function,and blood routine before and after treatment.Conclusion The results of the clinical study indicate that the prescription Qiweibaizhu Powder can significantly improve the appetite and food intake of children with anorexia,as well as the clinical symptoms of less looking,loose stools,etc.,which can increase the weight of the children,and increase the hemoglobin,blood zinc,and blood iron.The content indicates that the clinical efficacy of Qiweibaishu Powder is definite,and there are no adverse events,clinical safety is good,and it is worthy of promotion in clinical practice. |
