Clinical Study On Acupoint Application In Combination With Conventional Drugs For Sudden Deafness

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of acupoint application combined with routine medications in the treatment of sudden deafness,observe the effect of treatment time and hearing loss on the efficacy of sudden deafness,and explore the clinical value and popularization of acupoint application for sudden deafness.Methods:In this study,80 patients with sudden deafness who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into 40 patients in the observation group and 40 in the control group.The control group received conventional drug therapy,and the observation group received acupoint application combined with routine drug therapy.The acupoint application was applied to the patients’ Shenque and Yongquan points once a day for 8 hours and 10 days for a course of treatment.All patients received pure tone audiometry and tinnitus severity questionnaires before and after treatment,and asked and recorded the improvement time of symptoms in the course of treatment.After the treatment,pure tone audiometry.concomitant symptom improvement and symptom improvement time were compared between the two groups of patients,and objectively evaluated the efficacy of hearing improvement and the effect of accompanying symptoms in the two groups,and analyzed the effect of treatment time and different hearing degrees on the curative effect.This study used SPSS 19.0 statistical software for statistical analysis of data.Results:The general data before treatment in the two groups were comparable by chi-square test and t-test(P<0.05).After one course of treatment,hearing of patients before and after treatment in both groups were significantly increased(P<0.05).The cure rate,markedly effective rate and total effective rate in the observation group were higher than those in the control group.There was no significant difference in the total curative effect and the average hearing improvement between the two groups(P>0.05).The hearing improvement time of the observation group was earlier than that of the control group(P<0.05).The efficacy of tinnitus and ear fullness in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).The curative effect of the treatment time less than 7 days is better than that of the treatment time more than 7 days(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).The effect of mild hearing loss was better than that of severe-profound hearing loss(P<0.05).Conclusion:The cure rate,effective rate and total effective rate of sudden deafness treated with acupoint application combined with conventional drugs were higher than those of the control group.However,there was no significant difference in average hearing improvement and total curative effect compared with conventional drug treatment.Application of acupoint application in the treatment of sudden deafness can effectively shorten the time of symptom improvement.And it is significantly superior to conventional drug treatment in the relief of tinnitus and ear fullness.No adverse reactions occurred during the study,so it also proved the safety of acupoint application.From the onset time,the earlier the patient is treated.the better the hearing improvement is.And patients with mild hearing loss have better prognosis than those with severe hearing loss.Therefore,acupoint application is a better adjuvant treatment for sudden deafness,which can promote early recovery of patients and effectively reduce the accompanying symptoms.It is worth promoting.
