Clinical Effect Research Of Balanced Chiropractic Treatment On Carotid Cardiac Syndrome

Objective:To observe the improvements of major symptoms,pain situation,and anxiety state on carotid cardiac syndrome patients after the treatment of balanced chiropractic and analyze its related mechanism.To provide the clinical basis for balanced chiropractic therapy on carotid cardiac syndrome,and develop thought for clinical treatment of carotid cardiac syndrome.Methods:45 patients who met the inclusion criteria were divided into balanced chiropractic group A(n=15),conventional massage group B(n=15)and conventional acupuncture group C(n=15)by randomized study.Group A adopted acupuncture,massage and chiropractic technique.Group B carried out the massage treatment of sympathetic cervical spondylosis in the 13th five-year plan textbook.Group C was treated with the acupuncture treatment of cervical spondylosis and heart palpitation in the 13th five-year plan textbook.All the treatment was three times a week for four weeks.After 1 month,the difference of efficacy was evaluated from the three aspects:main symptom score,Visual Analogue Scale(VAS),Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS).To compare the overall treatment effect of the three groups,according to TCM symptoms score.Results:1.All the indexes of three groups had significantly improvement compared with pre-treatment(P<0.01).2.After treatment,group A had significantly improvement compared with group B and C on primary symptom score(P<0.01).And group B was better than group C on primary symptom score(P<0.05).3.According to the results of VAS,there was no significant difference between group A and group B(P>0.05).Group A was superior to group C(P<0.01),so was group B(P<0.05).4.According to the results of SAS,group C had no difference in data compared with group B(P>0.05),but it was better than group A(P<0.05).The comparison between group A and group B had no significant difference(P>0.05).5.The overall efficacy after treatment showed Group A was superior to the other groups on cure rate and total efficiency.Conclusion:1.All treatment methods in this study had good therapeutic effect on carotid cardiac syndrome.2.Balanced chiropractic treatment had obvious advantages on carotid cardiac syndrome cases in relieving the main symptoms and pain situation.3.Conventional acupuncture treatment was superior to the others in easing anxiety.4.Balanced chiropractic treatment had advantages on carotid cardiac syndrome on cure rate and total efficiency.Through this study,patients with chest pain and heart palpitations are well suited to balanced chiropractic treatment.Patients with pain in the neck and scapular are well suited to balanced chiropractic and conventional massage treatment.Patients with autonomic nervous disorder,such as chest discomfort,insomnia and anxiety,are suitable for conventional acupuncture treatment.
